Its interesting that objectification is associated with negativity.  Oddly enough, my artwork explores the complete objectification of an individual--I&#039;ve simply turned myself into a tool for my Art.  I am just another medium like Paint or Photography.

Yesterday, I posted some thoughts on this idea on my blog, http://gus23.wordpress.com.  You might find it interesting.  Perhaps there can be positive outcomes from the objectification of an individual.  And perhaps the objectification of people is simply an American tradition.
